Owners’ Quotes
Read what makes the world-class Marabou Ranch community so special to the sellers of Lot F6.

What is the history of your home?
We bought into Marabou in 2006. We enjoyed it so much. Our kids grew up going to Marabou. They learned to Ski, ride horses, ride bikes, fly fish and ice fish. We made lifetime friends on the ranch and in town. It was a wholesome, safe place to raise our kids.

What do you love about it?
The peacefulness. Far enough away from town, but close enough to go to all the wonderful shops and restaurants. Love all the activities available but you can also just relax and get away from it all.

What is the most beautiful thing about your home?
The outdoors. The wildlife and the four seasons that you get to experience at Marabou. Campfires, s’mores, grilling Marabou beef, sunset game drives, a night cap at the lodge, a concert video in the theatre, a soak in the hot tub, a 90 minute massage, a walk along the river, picking wild flowers, riding bikes down Hwy 42, ice fishing at Steamboat Lake.

What little details do you treasure?
I love that my daughter learned to drive a car on the streets of Marabou when she 10 or 12 years old! And she started riding horses at age 4 and now rides on her college rodeo team because of her intro to horses at Marabou.

What momentous things have happened to you under this roof?
We’ve celebrated many birthdays and anniversaries in the cabins over the years. When my husband turned 50, our daughter drove all the way from Virginia to Marabou and surprised him on his birthday- we had a big party in the lodge. Many Marabou families have had weddings at the Overlook and Lodge. So beautiful!!

Why is this a good place to live?
It’s a relatively safe environment, a great place for kids to grow up, and entertain family and friends. So many things to do. Outside especially. Get your family off their devices and engage.
